Hi, my name is Maria! I am originally from the Dominican Republic, but have lived in the U.S. for 35 years. After my three kids grew up, I pursued a job in childcare because of my love for kids. I have worked in an infant classroom for 6 and a half years now, and have served as lead teacher for 5 years. By myself, I have taken care of 4 babies at once in my classroom. I also have experience babysitting for some of the families of my little students. I love working with infants because I love to watch them grow and develop and come into their own personalities, but it is always sad to see them age out of my room. I love animals and nature and western movies, and enjoy walking and just being outside in my spare time!
