Hi there! I'm Catherine, and I'm delighted to virtually meet you. Thanks for taking the time to visit my profile. I'm originally from London, England, and I'm currently pursuing my doctorate in Criminology and Criminal Justice at UMass Lowell (UML). I provide childcare, senior care, household care, and pet care services. Growing up, I had several au pairs, providing me with firsthand experience and insight into the essential skills and qualities required in a great child-minder. I am warm, sociable, conscientious, and get on well with children of all ages. Over the past 6 years, I've volunteered with various vulnerable youth and adult groups. Currently, I mentor multiple youths and tutor English to teenage refugees in Lowell. Additionally, I teach Criminology at UML and have experience providing student support services. I am passionate about mental health, well-being, and justice (I hold a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology, a Master’s of Science in Forensic Psychology). I am an American and British-certified mental health first aider. My other passions include nutrition, food, exercise, and creativity, and would be delighted to share and engage in any of these activities across the services I offer. I can prepare nutritious and delicious meals, clean, and run errands. I hold clean US and UK driving licenses and have over 10 years of driving experience. Growing up with my bubbly black Labrador, Bramble, and now living with my housemate’s rescue dogs, Finn and Scuba, I have a wealth of experience caring for dogs and pet sitting.
