Hi! My name is Christine and I was very excited to find out that you are looking for a sitter and/or a nanny to take care of your children. Although I have many years of experience taking care of children, mostly children of friends, I am an educator by profession and my passion is teaching children. I graduated from Stonehill College with dual certification in elementary and early childhood education. As a classroom teacher; I have taught children in kindergarten, first grade and second grade. I earned a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and Child Development from Wheelock College. I also graduated from Simmons College with a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science. As a school librarian, I have been fortunate enough to work with students of all ages preschool through grade 12. Needless to say; I love books, sharing books and reading aloud to kids of all Read more ages. My most recent teaching position was in a child care center where I taught children between the ages of one to two years old. My passion is teaching children; but I also love music, art, dance, animals and nature. In addition to being a schoolteacher, I have also worked as a teacher/naturalist at an Audubon Wildlife Sanctuary here in Massachusetts. I am a very creative, caring and enthusiastic teacher who sees the world as my classroom. I will design and provide a safe learning environment that will meet the unique needs of your child or children. This positive setting will inspire endless opportunities for your child to grow, learn and discover joy. One thing you should know about me is that I almost always have a smile on my face. Nothing makes me smile more than spending time with kids and giving them a chance to play, create and explore the world around them.
