Hi Families! My name is Paige. I have been a professional nanny for about 10 years. While I have experience caring for children up to 12 years old, I specialize in newborns / infants / and toddlers. I have tons of early childhood education and special education credits that I've earned from Kutztown University. While attended University, I was working part time as a nanny. I fell in love with the work I was doing and decided to persue the nanny life full time. Being a professional nanny is the absolute best job for me because I'm able to immerse myself into another family and tailor the care I provide to the individualized needs and desires of each child based on the families specific beliefs, methods and desires. When I work with a family, I am fully dedicated to the happiness and well-being of the children while under my care. I love using the community to expand the world of little ones and encouraging them to make connections within. I also find it extremely important to offer opportunities to interact with peers of similar age to expose the children to, and foster, appropriate social development. Play groups, story times, outings, or just connecting with someone at the playground that day are tools that I use to encourage connections. I love arts and crafts, gift making, cooking and baking, and I have the ability to read beloved books on repeat with excitement each time. I find fulfillment in making nutritious but still fun and and appealing meals and snacks for the littles. I can also guarantee that at the end of each work day, the home would be reset to the way it was when I arrived there that day and occasionally there may even be a few extra helpful tasks completed if the day permits! I have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, can pass all background checks and clearances, strong references, I'm covid-19 vaccinated, and have been CPR/First Aid certified several times before**. I have worked with babies and children with anaphylactic-level allergies to nuts and eggs and am comfortable caring for those with severe allergies too.
