Hi! My name is Kelsie. I am 27 years old and working with children is something that I have always loved to do and have been for 10 years. I started out working with kids at a daycare when I was 17 and started nannying when I went to college. I have worked with children that are weeks old to 15 years in various settings. Throughout the years, I have formed amazing relationships with both children and parents that have continued even after the children no longer require a nanny. I have 6 years of experience in caring for two children, ages 12 and 10. The youngest has Type 1 diabetes, where I monitor her sugar levels closely and assure that she is eating the proper foods, while receiving the correct insulin amounts. I have also been with a family with three children, ages 8, 5 and 1 ½, for Read more 5 years. Along with nannying, I have a background in working in settings such as schools, daycare and summer camp. In being a caregiver to the two families, both families have made me feel like apart of the family. It is extremely rewarding to know I have made a positive impact on the children and see me as someone they can come to and rely on. It is a unique profession that becomes a huge part of a child’s life and why I love it so much.
