Hi, my name is Abby! I am currently a freshman at Saint Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri. I grew up in Amesbury, Massachusetts and spend my school breaks at home in Amesbury. I have always been passionate about working with kids. I am majoring in Speech Pathology with a minor in Education and plan to work with young children with speech difficulties in the near future. I want to go into this career because I have realized how much satisfaction I get from helping others and working towards making people happy. I have been a babysitter since the age of about 13 and I volunteered as a CIT for 2 years at the Amesbury Park Program for kids ages 3-5. I always say that CITing was the best job I have ever had because I was able to work with young children; whether it was reading books, playing tag, Read more or doing crafts with them, I truly enjoyed keeping them entertained and happy. I have a younger brother who is now a teenager, but I often looked after him when he was younger which was the reason I got into babysitting and nannying. I am looking for a nanny job for this upcoming summer when I am home from break. I am super friendly and would love to help out a family in need of a nanny this summer!
