Hello! My name is Emilee and I am a 26 year old female with a little over 8 years experience as a private nanny. The large majority of those years were spent with one family (2 girls from grades 1st and 3rd into high school) as the children were becoming less dependent on my care with age, I made the decision to further my nanny experiences and care for two other families. I made this decision based on my love to care for children and watch them grow. I was so touched by the bonds created with these girls during my time caring for them that I wanted to expand my experience with hopes of creating a bit more of a diverse background in the care that I was experienced in to continue this rewarding work. After that family, I worked with 2 other families. One was again 2 girls Read more but this time I cared for a toddler and then her newly arrived infant sister in their home. Most recently I cared for a family with 2 children on the spectrum, a boy and a girl, in the 3rd and 5th grades and I was able to develop my experience even more in depth with caring for all children. My time with them was not long as it was a transitionary role that I was helping to fill but the exposure and knowledge I gained during that time was of great wonder and I am so honored to have had the experience to work with and learn from some very special little people on how to truly be the absolute all-around best childcare provider I can be. Outside of being a nanny, my career has focused most largely in the medical field as an SRNA or a nurse's aide. I have been a registered CNA with an active licensure since 2013. I have a variety of settings in which I have provided care outside of a home setting, including a long term care facility and a hospital. I would like to think this exposure has really helped to shape me into the incredible caregiver that I feel that I am. Besides actual direct childcare and patient care, I have experience in my history providing homework help and tutoring, cooking and meal services, transportation for both short and long distances, light cleaning and organizational duties as well as other household managerial operations that required a family representative - included but not limited to teacher meetings, healthcare appointments, overseeing technical service appointments within the house and caring for family pets. I have made wonderful bonds and keep in touch with the families of which I have cared for and have glowing recommendations and referrals upon request.
