Hello! I’m Danielle and I’m almost 19 years old. I was reading through the listings to see what was available and I gravitated towards yours. I grew up being the big sister who was 10 years older and always looked after my siblings. Similar to your kiddos, I had a baby brother and a newborn sister to look after growing up. Right now I’m graduated and am living in my own apartment with my fiancé and have my own car so you’d never have to worry about me being late, unreliable, or having any issues taking your children anywhere. I also have looked after my baby nephew since he was born (he’s almost a year old now) so I’ve kept up with my baby sitting skills! I’m a 4 year old at heart, so getting along with little kiddos comes very easily to me, but I also feel very confident Read more in myself to be able to keep kiddos on schedule and accountable when needed. Growing up I’ve always wanted to be in the medical field, so I have a lot of volunteer hours with hospitals and care facilities. I’ve also had my cpr license in babies and children up until last year and I haven’t had the chance to renew it, but if for some unfortunate reason something comes up I’ll know exactly how to handle it. Upon making my account I didn’t know my profile would be for a singular position, so I put all of my information about animal care (not knowing I wouldn’t be able to add childcare) so your animals would be in great hands as well! At one point I owned 10 cats, 2 dogs, and 2 ferrets as well as working in a kennel for 4+ years so I definitely know how to handle them as well. My references would only be my parents and my sister in law, but if you wanted to speak to them to see if I’d be a good fit they’ll be more than willing to let you know how I did. Also, as per living on my own, I clean everything in my house including laundry, sweeping, mopping, disinfecting, dishes, etc. And I know how to make a mean Mac and cheese with Dino nuggies. (Or anything you prefer your children to eat!) A random fact, I haven’t gotten sick in the past 6 years so I’d have absolutely no problem with taking care of the kiddos if they got sick. The schedule you put out is perfect for me, and I’m also flexible if it ever changes, or if you wanted a date night/girls night I’d be very happy to step in as well. Thanks for reading this! I hope I covered everything, and I am excited to hear back from you and hopefully become a small helpful part of your family!
