Hello Parents! To start, my name is Jaymee. I’m a junior at the University of Kansas who is majoring in both nursing and biology with a minor in applied behavioral science. I’ve been a nanny for over 4 years, and since then, have been interested in finding a few families to service this year and so forth. Throughout my experience, I have worked with children of all ages, and have conversancy with children whom have disabilities such as autism, ADD/ADHD, Asperger’s syndrome, speech impediments, Cerebral Palsy, etc. In addition to this, I have also been a montessori pre-school teacher. I have planned and implemented curriculums to meet the social, cultural and educational needs for many students based on their current developmental level and personal needs. As we complete lessons, the prerequisite which we’ll be working on would be given, along with the main objective of the subject. As time progresses, Read more I will communicate how well your child has assessed the material, and their readiness for it thereafter. This is solely for you, and I, to see if your child has self-confidence when taking on new skills by themselves, or if they’re showing difficulty when understanding the material. Lastly, I am CPR and first aid certified, and have reliable transportation. I’m located in the Lawrence area, but would be willing to travel further for the right family!
