I have been babysitting since I was 12 years old for families with children between infancy to pre-teens. I have a degree in community health, where I did a lot of my projects with children in elementary education. Prior to moving to Kansas from New York for college (I graduated with a degree in Community Health), I babysat for a family three times weekly with three-year old twins (one with high-functioning autism), and an infant with epilepsy. Working with an infant with a condition as such, taught me how to handle the fragility of babies, and prepare me to act in times of crisis. In addition, I taught youth boxing and swim classes from the years of 2016-2019 (between 6 months and 10 years). I have always loved children and to this day, I actually still babysit for a family with an infant (8 months), and an 11 year old Read more in Miami, FL. Also, I nannied for my old-babysitter for the last year (continuing the cycle), and though I adore them, I’m going to be relocating from Miami, FL to Kansas City, KS to be closer to family. I have been certified in CPR and child CPR as well as first aid, and I was a camp counselor for 4-5 year olds in 2014. I do adore kiddos and being a nanny has been one of the most worth-while jobs I’ve had, so I’ve been looking for a family that needs one once I make the move back to Kansas. I’m completely comfortable working with children of all age groups and I have no conflict with any nitty-gritty of working with them. Finally, I’m a professional at preventing tears and I have retained some terrific dad jokes, especially to make little kids laugh.
