Hi, my name is Josie. I could name a million reasons as to why I love taking care of children. But my favorite part is watching them learn and do new things. I love being able to provide a nurturing and positive environment to fulfill a child's childhoods. I enjoy being energetic with them and making fun memories for them to hold on to. Making sure someone's babies are well taken care of is an extremely important job and something that is very special to me. Ever since I was mature enough to look after children, I've always cherished it. I always knew that one day I wanted to work in some sort of childcare just based off of the excitement and joy that I would experience looking after my baby cousins and other beautiful babies. From the time I was 12 until I was 14, I would look after Read more my two baby cousins for short periods of time for my aunt. When I turned 14 it became more of a permanent, paid job, and I was watching them 3-4 days a week for about 10-hour periods. I watched them for about 4 years. I would also watch my coworker's baby when we didn't work together as I also waitressed from the time I was 14 until I was 18 years old. I've looked after many family members babies and children over the years ranging from newborns to 8 years old. Ever since I was little, I've dreamed of becoming a mommy myself. Little did I know that day would come a lot sooner than I expected. When I was 18 years old in March of 2024, I found out I was pregnant. Pregnancy and postpartum has matured and taught me a lot about motherhood and nurturing babies. My baby is now 6 months old, and she is the best thing that has ever happened to me, and being a mother is the greatest blessing I have ever received from God. After going through all of the ups and down that come with being a new mother and adjusting to a new life. I feel more confident than ever to take very good care of someone else's precious babies and nurture them in the best way possible. I am hoping to find someone who is willing to allow me to bring my baby with me to work as she would love to make some friends. I am CPR, first aid, and AED certified. As I previously mentioned I love to be energetic with children and can keep them entertained. I've also taken care of lots of babies which in return has given me a good ability to figure out what they need when they become distressed.
