Hi there! My name is Skye Magee, I’m 19 years old and currently live in Wonder-Lake Illinois. I come from a family of six, with me being the oldest of four, which awoke a huge passion and soft spot in me for children, and young adults, and watching them continually learn and grow. I have 9 months of prior work experience as an early intervention behavioral therapist to children on the autism spectrum, as well as a few years of volunteer work with children in things such as after school clubs, summer camps, vacation bible school, children’s ministry, and babysitting. My main goals with childcare is to make any and all children I work with to feel safe, comfortable, uplifted, energized, and excited to be in my care. Any age appropriate activities that get those creative & imaginative gears in motion is my jam. My favorite things to do with Read more kiddos in my care is make up new games, make crafts, cook, paint, write, and spend time outdoors! I believe some of my special skills would include good organizational and planning skills, great crisis management ability, and being able to bring joy and excitement into every day. I am also CPR and first aid certified, and know basic ASL. I’d be more than happy to help out with any and all chores needed or wanted to be done around the house, as well as always being willing to flexible, and accommodate to your family, and kiddos needs, and preferences. I hope to be a shoulder to lean on, and a huge support to your family. I’m available M-F at whatever hours I’m needed, and I can start as early as June 10th. And I’m available all throughout this year, and going into the next. I hope you’ll consider me for your child’s care!!! :))
