Hello! My name is Sophie and I’m excited to be considered to babysit for your child. My mom was a preschooler teacher, so ever since I can remember, I was helping her out with her classroom. I’m always the person in my large extended family to watch the kids during gatherings. I have babysat before as well, in addition to having experience with teaching children in service learning and volunteer environments. My children can’t wait for Sofia to come back. She was hands-on with three children for three days and nights and she never even took a break. My daughter told me that she didn’t even know what Sofia‘s phone looks like because she was never on it. They baked together and she taught them how to scramble eggs and use the toaster. Even with full reign of the kitchen, she noticed some ingredients needed stocking to complete recipes so she picked up ingredients and even left them behind, So that she could cook healthy meals with the children. She took them to the beach every single day, which was an idea she came up with on her own. She made sure everybody had sunscreen and everything they needed even though I didn’t leave anything like that out. She just figured it out.
