Hi! My name is Lucie, I am 34 years old, and I have over 15 years experience working in childcare. I have a background in newborn care and child development, and am comfortable with children of all ages. I studied special education and behavioral psychology as an undergrad, and 7 years ago I trained to become a labor and postpartum doula for expecting and new parents. I am bilingual, and I love to knit, play piano, read, and bake. I am also a mom of 2, a spunky toddler who loves telling jokes and chasing our 11 year old golden retriever around the house, and a very happy, and newly rolling, 4 month old. Lucie came by and pet sit for my dog back in the spring of this year for about two weeks. She was most accomodating to my schedule and clicked with me and my dog from day one. She's quick to respond to emails/texts/calls and was really great to work with. In a heartbeat I'd call her again if we ever needed assistance with our dog. Thanks Lucie!!

Lucie was wonderful. She gave us daily, sometimes twice-daily, updates on how the dogs were doing. She was extremely quick in responding to questions or when I just wanted to know how things were going. She looked after our property, took in our mail, and told us when things needed attention, even emailing me pictures when necessary. She also went above and beyond when one of the dogs brought home a Christmas "present" of a dead squirrel - she disposed of it with no fuss or complaining. When we came home the dogs were happy and our home was spotless - she'd clearly worked hard to make our return pleasant. We highly recommend Lucie and wouldn't hesitate to hire her again.
