Hello parents! Currently I am looking to start my own child care center in the upcoming year. For the time being I am starting a babysitting business for the summer to get a feel for things. I will be babysitting from my house, currently I only have four available spots. before starting, I would like to set up a meeting with you and your child at a nearby Park to see if we are a good fit. A little bit more about me, I have been a preschool Teacher for 7 years now. I absolutely love working with children and have a passion for teaching. Our children are only children for such a short period of time and we do not get a do-over, childhood should be one that is filled with fun and wonderful memories that they will remember forever. I am fortunate enough to be a mother to Read more three amazing children my oldest Willie he is 10, my middle child Russell he is three and my beautiful Ella who just turned one. I have had the opportunity to work for some of the best child care centers in IL, I have been privileged to have my children at work with me. With that being said on two occasions I have had to pull my kids out of daycare because of mistreatment and neglect. Currently there is a crisis going on in the child care industry, there is a lack of qualified teachers due to the inadequate pay and because of this children are not getting the quality care that they deserve. As a parent, it is very hard to find good quality daycares or good people to take care of your children. I always say I am a Teacher but I always think like a mother first, I put my knowledge as a teacher and love as a mother rolled into one, to give the children I take care of the education and love that they deserve. An idea of our daily schedule would look like this 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Morning snack 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Music and song 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Freeplay 10:00 a.m. 10:30 a.m. Art 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 Outside time/ nearby Park 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Lunch time 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Nap time 2:30 p.m. to 3 :00 p.m. Afternoon snack 3:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Free play 3:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Books and puzzles 4:00 p.m. 4:15 pick up time I will also be in contact with parents throughout the day on the app called Remind sending pictures and the videos.
