I absolutely love children and find it so fulfilling to spend time with them, no matter how old. Throughout high school, I babysat and nannied on a multitude of occasions and worked with many different types of families and children. I teach Sunday school to children at my church every Sunday and thoroughly enjoy working with them. I also worked a lot with children in the special needs community and have learned a lot about how different people function in different ways and how everyone's needs vary. This has made me very patient with others and makes spending time with kids even more enjoyable for me! I babysat a lot in my early teens which eventually turned into full on nannying. My most recent experience includes: The Garner Family This couple decided to go on a long European and Asian tour for the month of August and I lived in Read more their home with their two children while they were away. The children were ages 8 and 17, and the 17-year-old has down syndrome. I woke the kids up and got them ready for school, cooked for them, and filled all parental responsibilities while I was living with them. The Bailey Family I nannied for about a year for this family. They had 4 children ages 4-10. I was there somewhat often and usually took care of them nights when both parents were away. This included meal prep, helping the kids with bathing and homework, and other nighttime activities.
