Hello, my name is Emilia I grew up being a babysitter for my neighborhood and immediately fell in love with caring for children. I took Early Learning classes my junior and senior year of high school and graduated top student of my class with my ECE 1 and ECE 2 credits in childcare. After graduation I worked at a daycare in Naperville as a teacher assistant for ages infant-5 years old. I then moved to a daycare closer to me where I was the lead teacher on my own two year old classroom. I love doing actives including but not limited to art, math and counting, reading, fine motor, large motor, and doing basic Spanish with children such as numbers, alphabet, colors, and animals. I am a college student pursuing my masters degree in psychology where I plan to work with children and adolescence. I an CPR, AED, food handlers, Read more Mandated reporter certified and have gateways certifications for daycares. In my free time I love to cook and bake, read, go outside, and spend time with friends and family. What sets me apart is that I have worked with children in a daycare setting since I was a junior in high school.
