I am a recently retired elementary school educato who downsized and moved to Geneva, I have 35 years of experience teaching first, second, and third graders. I spent my entire career teaching in Naperville School District 203 and have an elementary educator’s license in the State of IL. I taught Sunday School and served as Sunday School Superintendent and Vacations Bible School Chair when my children were young. I received my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Elementary Education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I have two grown children, a daughter and a son. I wrote elementary school literacy curriculum for District 203, served on many District committees, and received recognition on several occasions for my contributions to excellence in education, including the “Those Who Excel” honor in the elementary educator category.
