I've been in the child care industry since 2005. I have experience with children 3 mos-12 years. I have cared for twins, triplets, and special needs children such as autism, and sensory issue. Childcare is my passion. I consider myself to be patient, nurturing, and caring. Mutual respect and communication are very important to me for a successful fit. A typical day will consist of outdoor play ( weather permitting), educational activities, art, crafts, music, and reading. A day with a newborn/baby consist of visual aids, bright and contrasting colors, various music, reading, and using reflexology to help relax the baby. I will prepare meals and snacks for children. Im CPR certified. Im up to date with my Covid vaccine, boosters, and flu shot. I’m looking to do date night child care. References upon request. Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you. Lisa Green

While Lisa had good references, her actual behavior didn't live up to what her or her references said. My job posting and in conversation, I discussed being "active," with my toddler who's 22 months old. I discussed playing and doing a variety of activities. During the first and only time Lisa kept our daughter, she didn't play on the floor or interact with her. Lisa sat on the couch the ENTIRE time. We have a nanny cam. Unless, my daughter literally pulled at her hand to bring her to the kitchen or show her something, Lisa seemed to REFUSE to interact with my daughter. It's kind of sad, my daughter was constantly trying to interact and Lisa just wouldn't. Definitely do NOT recommend for parents with active children who want to interact with others and learn. My daughter is very smart, already knows her ABC's and more. So she's yearning for interactions! Unless your child is going to be asleep for the whole time Lisa's sitting for your family- don't hire.
