I am an art educator of over 10 years. I moved to Chicago from Toronto Canada in 2017 to get a masters in art education from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. I’ve been working as a classroom teacher in Chicago public schools since 2018 but have worked as an arts educator in Toronto since 2015. From 2019-2022 I worked as a middle school art teacher at Intrinsic School creating bilingual curriculum for English learning students and students in SPED (special education). I went back to school in 2022 and I recently graduated with masters of fine arts in photography from Columbia College where I worked as a museum educator at the Museum of Contemporary Photography. I have experience working with very young kids from toddlers to middle and high-school age youth. I am bilingual in English and Spanish. I am currently in between jobs. Working as an Read more assistant summer camp director at the city of Evanston. I would be able to working after 5pm Monday to Friday and weekends. After August 15 I will have a more open availability.
