I am searching for a loving family in need of a great full time nanny, flexible to start May 7- August. I have over 5 years of nanny experience. I spent 4 years working as a part time nanny for a family with 5 children. I never thought that would be my career path at the time, but there's honestly nothing I love more than being a nanny. Since then I've held additional part and full time nanny positions (special needs, only child, 2 children/in Chicago). I have a bachelors degree in Human and Educational Services with a strong focus and internships in special education. I'm very motivated, with a can do attitude and will jump in to help wherever there is a need. I love functioning as a team player with the family. I'm passionate about this line of work and continuously working on my own professional development. I Read more try to regularly read new books on childcare topics, am I in a nanny book club, and enjoy taking up to date classes (currently completing a a Newborn Care Specialist course). I value teaching children to be thoughtful, self aware, open minded, independent, expressive, and polite. I'm travel ready, have a strong sense of adventure, as well as excellent planning skills. I can also offer flexibility in my schedule as I do not have a family of my own yet. Additionally, I have on the job experience with light cooking, doing family laundry, a clean driving record and experience driving children in the city, am strong swimmer and have swim supervision experience, love pets and am willing to help, and I LOVE working with multiple children.
