I love working with kids of all ages, with everything going on today, I find so much hope working with young people and spending time with their creative minds. I have worked professionally as both a nanny and a public school educator. I have a bfa with a focus on arts education, and completed my student teaching in a montessori setting, which has greatly influenced my approach to childcare. I previously worked 12 hour shifts, from 6 am to 6 pm, as a nanny for a military family, caring for a 5 year old and a 2 year old. This experience was prior to acquiring my degree, and I continued to babysit throughout my education. After receiving my degree, and completing my student teaching, I spent 2 years working as an art instructor and floating childcare aid at an early childhood center. I am currently working as a public school Read more teacher in CPS, but am looking to work more directly with families as either a nanny or babysitter, I lean towards creative and educational projects to pass the time. I also enjoy household management duties such as meal prep and (surprisingly) laundry! Infants and small children are my favorites, there is so much joy in those tiny people! but I am experienced and happy to work with children of all ages!
