My name is Kaitlin Burgett. I grew up in Glenview and currently reside in Northwest Chicago. I am a licensed Special Education teacher who has worked with children of all ages. While I was a student attending high school, I became interested in assisting students with special needs and was a successful member of the Peer Group program there. I have experience as a nanny/caregiver for several children with various needs. Some of my duties included driving to activities, appointments, homework, cooking, artwork, play dates, library, classes, sports, and Special Olympics participation. My focus is developing a relationship with both the child and the family, emphasizing the children's care, needs, and safety. I enjoy caring for others and find it so rewarding to play a key role in a child's development. I'm sensitive to a child's needs and will build an engaging and diverse day around their interests. A strong Read more skill of mine is to tailor my caregiving style to mesh with the child's personality and temperament. You will find me professional, experienced, dependable, friendly, fun, patient, creative, a problem solver, flexible and a good communicator. I am confident I can make a positive difference in the care of your children. I look forward to meeting with you!
