I’m a warm, nurturing, and experienced caregiver who has been working with children since my teenage years—starting with babysitting and later nannying through college. I’ve had the joy of caring for children of all ages, from infants to school-aged kids, and each experience has deepened my love for this work and strengthened my skills. I also worked as a counselor on an adolescent mental health unit, supporting youth through emotional and behavioral challenges. That role taught me the importance of empathy, patience, and meeting kids where they are developmentally—skills I bring to every caregiving relationship. I’ve supported families during the transition back to work after maternity leave, assisting with infant care, creating sleep routines, and offering encouragement during those early months. These experiences enhanced my understanding of infant development and the importance of emotional support for parents. In addition to being CPR certified, I’m pursuing my Master’s in Social Work Read more with the goal of becoming a child therapist. My education and hands-on experience give me a strong foundation for supporting children’s emotional, cognitive, and physical growth. I’ve also cared for children with disabilities and medical needs, always adapting with attentiveness and compassion. I’m comfortable with pets and happy to help around the house with light cleaning, meal prep, and laundry to keep things running smoothly. I believe a calm, organized space contributes to a child’s well-being. I value a balanced, low-tech environment that encourages creativity, play, and connection. I love spending time outdoors with kids and enjoy sharing activities like reading, writing, and art to build confidence and imagination. Above all, my goal is to create a supportive, joyful environment where children feel safe, seen, and free to be themselves. I take pride in building strong, trusting relationships with both kids and parents, and I approach caregiving with intention, heart, and joy.
