Starting off as a young teen , I helped to raise my young nieces and nephews until I went off to college in the Fall of 2010. While raising my young nieces and nephews , it had a major impact on why I went to school and obtained a degree in Early Childhood Education. Internship Placement 1: Wetumpka Elementary School. I had the honor of working under the supervision of Mrs. Sharon Adams for eight weeks in a second grade classroom. I had the opportunity to create common core standard based lessons, implement new skills that were developmentally appropriate for the students and also enhanced their learning. •Internship Placement 2: Wetumpka Elementary School. (Other work experience: The Learning Treasure Preschool, Butterfly Academy and The Wonder Years). My later education consists of a Master’s in Educational Leadership. At this moment , I am pursuing my doctorate in Early Childhood Advocacy. My upcoming role consists of serving as an instructional coach in the area of English Language Arts.
