Hi there! My name is Angela. I'm a 39 year old native of Georiga. :) Teaching and care taking are my passion. I am the proud mother of a bright, beautiful 8-year-old daughter who is my reason for everything. :-) I recently stepped away from a demanding career in sales to move toward a more rewarding, balanced life with my family. I have over 20 years of babysitting and care taking experience dating back to my teens, and I was a nanny in my 20's. Education & health & wellness - specifically yoga for children and adults - are my interests. I genuinely love working with and teaching (and learning from!) children of all ages. I believe that they deserve the respect that we would like to see from them and that the fundamental years are so very important for emotional well-being and instilling a love for learning. I began Read more home schooling my daughter this year. Education designed specifically to a child's strengths is so is very important to me. I would describe my disposition with children as kind, loving, compassionate yet gently firm if/when needed. I am easy to work with, easy going and a rule follower. Specifically, I understand the need to follow your parenting rules and style very closely. As a parent myself, my commitment to you is to be trustworthy and to give the kind of compassionate care and attention that your child deserves. I find it rewarding to give back and help other parents, as I have been in the position myself needing help and needing to have that 100% confidence and trust in someone to assist me with my daughter. :-) I have screened sitters and nannies personally, and I empathize with your search for that perfect fit. I hold myself to a high level of competency & responsibility when it comes to protecting and looking after children, and I hope I can help in whatever capacity you may need.
