Hi! I am a single mother of 2 children. My son is 6 and my daughter is 13. I have been a stay-at-home mom for the past 7 years or so, with exception of about 2 years of working in the salon/spa industry and temping at a lab owned by the family. However, now I am re-entering the work force and have decided to pursue being a babysitter/nanny, as it is a family friendly career. Eventually, I will be attending Augusta University to finish my degree, but I am not sure yet about the timeframe. My degree will be pursued on line and by taking night classes when that occurs. It’s been awhile since I have been in childcare, so I am starting fresh as far as references go. In 1990 I worked at Augusta Christian Wee Care Day Care, then I moved to Connecticut where I was a nanny Read more in the early 90’s for 3 different families. I also worked at the Yale Law School Day Care and another community co-op day care for Yale Grad School students. Unfortunately, these references are old and I have lost touch over the years with those employers, so I am looking to build references again in that arena. My demeanor is calm and laid back. I am more of the arty-mom type. I am a vocalist, artist and a passionate nature lover. When I lived on a farm in Dearing,GA, before moving back to Augusta this summer, I took care of many animals.
