My name is Seanzell and I am from New Orleans, Louisiana. After high school I continued my education, studying journalism at the University of New Orleans. Growing up in a household with 7 younger siblings I developed a love for children early on. Helping my parents care for my siblings created a subconscious affinity for early childhood development before I ever thought of making it a career. Before I knew it, my adolescence was over and I found myself right back where I started; caring for children as a Nanny for several families over the past few years. More recently, I began teaching at a private prekindergarten, thus, I have learned lesson planning, and how to incorporate fun into fundamental learning activities. Secondary to my love for children is my love for writing. I began writing at the age of 11 which happens to be my favorite pastime. While at Read more first, I didnât quite understand the reason for such a gift, teaching has helped me realize that being a writer has enhanced my ability to teach my students and find new ways for them to learn through poetry, song, and a short story. I have cared for, cooked for, cleaned up after, and taught children from infant to middle school and take pride in being able to be a positive impact on the youth in any way possible.
