Hi my name is Hasan and l am currently a college freshman at FAU. I am currently studying political science and want to become a social justice advocate/activist. I am a south Florida native and live in Weston, FL. In high school, I babysat my neighbors kids every other weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it. When I was younger at age 15, I was a summer camp counselor at the YMCA for kids 10-12. This last summer, I was also a summer camp counselor at a camp in Pennsylvania called Camp Kweebec where I won counselor of the year. I worked with older kids there (14-16). I think the main reason why I love working with kids so much is because I didn’t really have a childhood. I was in foster care until 10, when I was adopted.
