Hi there my name is Gaby and I am 32 years old. I am from Chicago and I went to Southern IL University with the pursuit of an education degree but switched 2 years in once I took my first child psychology class and was intrigued. I currently have a bachelors in Psychology and am in pursuit of a masters in elementary education. During my college years I was in the sorority Alpha Xi Delta and our philanthropy was Autism Speaks. I was involved in many events working with autistic children and learned how to interact with them where they felt comfortable. Education has been a major part of my life since I was little, the interest started when I was 8 years old, I would play with my dolls and pretend to be their teacher! At 14 years old I took on my first babysitting job which I continued Read more with various families throughout the next 4 years. At age 18, I went to college and took on a part time nanny job which I continued for 2 years. Upon graduating I immediately worked at an early childcare center with preschool aged children. I worked at two different centers over 4 years time, before finding an early education center I loved and could call home where I stayed for 2 years. Covid hit, so I left and went back to nannying. I have been with my same family for over three years now but am ready to move on and leave Chicago to join my family in Florida. Resume and references available upon request.
