I left an office/professional job and became a nanny two years ago. I have a bachelor’s degree and past employment has included jobs in which I worked with individuals with intellectual disability, women in crisis, and families needing resources for everyday living. I have much experience with children. I raised 4 children of my own and provided once a week care for my grandchildren since their infancy. In my last employment of 2 years, I was a nanny for 2 children who, when I stated the job, were an infant of 3 months, and the other a 2 year old toddler. Along with childcare, I also provided transportation, did housecleaning, laundry and meal prep. I only left that job because of moving to Florida. I love children - their inquisitiveness, energy, imagination and their zest for life and love. I enjoy coming up with fun activities including crafts, going to Read more the park, playing games, reading books, doing puzzles….in order to keep children active and entertained. I like to have fun with children and do not have a problem with pets. I am an active individual who enjoys the outdoors including biking, gardening, taking walks, and I want to learn to play pickle ball! I enjoy building trustful relationship with both children and their parents. I am trustworthy, prompt, committed, organized and mindful of details. It would be my pleasure to assist a family by providing care to children.
