Children are filled with zest! A type of enthusiasm and energy for life that ripples into the hearts of those who can absorb and relate to their whimsical ways. Caring for little ones can be most challenging, yet very rewarding. The innocence of children can be a refreshing experience everyday as you see milestones, developments, and growth. To me its the ultimate fun and joy of life. I consider myself a big kid. When I was 7 my twin sisters were born. I became my mommy's little helper. I loved helping her. At 14, I had my first babysitting job with the little girl around the block. As I grew, I did many babysitting jobs after school. My dream since I was a child was to have a child care center like the one I watched as a toddler called "Romper Room." I would get so excited when I knew Read more the show was going to start. (I'm talking the 60's) lol.. As an adult, life happened. I finally went to college for early childhood education. However, the last 10 yrs was a great pause. I took care of my mother - who was battling Parkinson's and Dementia - from 2014 to 2020. At the end of 2020, I was hit by a drunk driver and spent the next few years healing from my injuries. I'm fun, love to laugh, and most of the time I'm a big kid. At the same time, I'm cautious, responsible, and always try to see the good in everything. The unpredictability of children makes for everyday unique adventures, which helps someone like me to enjoy the times spent with them.
