My name is Shannyn Jones. I am 50 yrs old. I previously worked in the medical field . I was babysitting part-time, evenings & weekends while working full-time days. I left my daytime office position & decided to do something that I found more rewarding:) My mother provided childcare in our home when I was in elementary school. I started babysitting in the nursery @ church when I was in high school & have babysat on & off since then. I have experience with all ages especially infants and toddlers . I am trained in child and infant CPR and first aid. I have a recent tdap vaccination and up to date on covid and flu. I have 10 nieces & nephews but I do not have any children of my own. I was married in April of 2012. That March I left my office job & started working as a nanny part-time. Since that time I have had the fortune of helping many families. Some on a regular basis & some for nights out, picking up kids from school & taking to activities & SAHM's that need a break or have errands. Currently I am working as a part-time sitter/nanny for a 15m old and 3yr old. I have been with them for almost 3 yrs. My husband & I relocated to Pensacola April 2014 from the DC/VA area. I worked at an animal rescue and shelter, and i volunteer and local rescues. I am also on Rover and pet sit for friends and neighbors as well. I have watched pets and house sat for many of my babysitting families:-) If you would like we can get together for a "meet & greet". I can meet you & the children & find out about any needs you may have & the children will have a chance to get to know me before being left alone. I know that can often be challenging for the young ones. Thank you for your interest. I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Hello, I’m Karine, I’m from Brazil and I have always loved kids and finally found the au pair program in 2019. I was an au pair for 2,5 years and had two amazing families that made my experience even better. I took care of 3 children in the first family and two in the second family. The age range was between 15 months to 6 yo. The main activities I would do with the kids would be driving them to practices, explore playgrounds around the city, do play dates, arts and crafts, play sports, go on walks or small hikes and be outside as much as we could as the kids loved the outdoors and me too. I would love to know your interest and expectations for your next babysitter/nanny. Hope you have a good one. Karine Vieira

I am a College student who is currently in my last semester of school before recieving my A.A for majoring in Early Childhood Education. Child are a pasion of mine. I love their creative minds. I like to think of myself as a child’s advocate and do anything in my power to protect the innocence of a child’s mind. I don’t have any children of my own but have always been around and helped raise other cousins, nieces and friends babies. I have completed over 50+ hours through all of the teaching classes I have taken in my college career!

As a mom of two wonderful children, ages 9 and 11, I understand firsthand the trust and care that parents look for in a sitter. My own kids have been my greatest teachers, and they've given me a deep appreciation for the unique joys and challenges of every age and stage. I love being a sitter because I get to connect with kids and help them feel safe, happy, and engaged. Whether it's reading a favorite book, building an epic Lego castle, or just offering a listening ear, I believe in creating a fun and supportive environment where children can thrive. My experience extends far beyond my own home. For years as an adult and when growing, I have contributed to and co-ran nursery programs at my local church and managed the musical one year. I'm comfortable caring for children of all ages, from toddlers to school-aged kids. I have a proven ability to manage multiple children at once and keep a peaceful and organized household. My daily life as a parent has given me a natural understanding of child development and how to handle a wide range of situations, from sibling squabbles to homework meltdowns. Meal Prep: I'm skilled at preparing healthy meals and snacks, and I'm mindful of food allergies and dietary restrictions. Safety and Transport: I'm diligent about creating a safe environment and am a responsible driver with a clean record. I have CPR and First Aid Training as well! Homework Help: I'm happy to help with homework and school projects. Flexible & Reliable: I'm known for being punctual, reliable, and able to adapt to a family's unique schedule and needs. I am excited to get to know your family and provide a fun, safe, and loving environment for your child. Please feel free to reach out with any questions you may have!
