Hi Moms & Dads, I love children. Working with them brings me joy. I am background checked on Care.com & fully background checked by a private company. I am CPR/First Aid Certified. And, I do not smoke. I have lived on Miami Beach for 13 years. I am a mom of a beautiful teen daughter and a cute little rescue kitty. I was a stay-at-home mom for my daughter's early years with no help, so all the experience is mine. I started babysitting when I was 14 and my little sister was one, and my mom had to go to work. I babysat a lot as a teenager, and most of my childcare experience comes from raising my beautiful daughter and hosting lots of play dates, along with babysitting when she is with her father. I have a lot of patience and joy with the little ones who need to Read more express themselves loudly and need a little extra help organizing themselves ;) I am skilled in helping the infants and toddlers develop healthy sleep patterns. I also have experience with colic, food allergies, & highly sensitive children. I have experience with children who suffer from Sensory Modulation Dysfunction. I am comfortable sitting for autistic children. I am often told I have beautiful & soothing energy by others, and the littlest ones confirm it. Children love my energy. I taught my daughter how to swim. I have tutored privately a lot over the years with excellent results, bringing C's and D's up to A's in about 2 months. I tutored math and reading and SAT prep. I have a lot of education, so I can help your child with homework easily. I love to play. I am high energy. I love animals & nature. I am responsible, dependable and will honor your rules for your children. I will care for and protect your children like my own. Your children's safety and happiness are my goal. I have no issue sitting for sick children. I am sorry that I have to account for a 2 star review by one parent. Please know that not all parents are like you. I sat for this family weekly over the course of 6-weeks. Their children were sweet and darling, and certainly not high energy. The mother was mentally unwell and her children suffer for it. I kindly resigned from the position via text. The mother's outburst of rage and misrepresentations only reaffirms my decision to no longer help this family. I have sat for many other families since I joined Sittercity, and they loved and love working with me. Thank you! Paulin
