I have my Bachelors in Elementary Education (K-6). I also have my Masters in Education. I received both degrees in Pennsylvania, which is where I am originally from. I taught for 7 years, teaching Elementary school, specifically Kindergarten and 2nd Grade. I also have nanny experience with pre school aged children. In 2014 I made the decision to resign from my teaching position and follow my mom here to Florida because I really missed being around family. She had moved here two years prior. I moved to Florida and couldn’t be happier here! When I first moved I was a nanny/Estate manager for a family with a 1 year old little boy, for 2 years here in Melbourne. When it was time to send him to a preschool we worked out a schedule that was best for him that transitioned me out, until he was in school full time. I then got a job working for a financial consulting company as an administrative assistant to the owner of the company. I did that for a few years and when they got a contract to work for a hospital in California, I decided I didn’t want to be traveling full time. I then got my real estate license and worked on a team at Keller Williams part time, while also working as an administrative assistant for a commercial plumbing company…….until I realized how much I really missed teaching and being around children. It is my true calling. I currently work for a preschool part time while working towards getting my Childcare Directors Credential. Unfortunately their enrollment is diminishing due to Covid etc. and they were forced to cut many of our hours down. Therefore I am looking elsewhere for employment.
