I am a semi-retired ESOL teacher who is certified in Elementary Education, ESOL, Gifted, Special Education, and Educational Leadership. I have over 20 years experience as a professional educator. My experience includes teaching in grades K-12 as an English, reading, and math teacher. My passion is teaching children to read. I use hands on teaching methods to strengthen students familiarity with letter recognition. I incorporate interactive lessons that engage students of all learning styles including auditory, visual, tactile, and kinesthetic. For my students who are second language learners I utilize a learning program that incorporates phonics, vocabulary development, reading comprehension, and communication skills. If you are looking for a nanny who is caring, dependable, and highly motivated than look no further.
