I attended Lehman College and a BA in Early Childhood Education. I was teacher at P.E.S 126 in the Bronx for 2 ½ years. I have been a Nanny/Family Assistant for the last 14 years. Working with kids for so many years, I have come to understand that children come into the world with a blank slate. The experiences, environment, adults, as well as surroundings are what shape them into who they become. I feel our responsibility as parents, teachers and Nanny’s is to provide children with the best possible education, knowledge, and choices so they are able to grow to their maximum potential. I believe that children should be given the ability to become independent individuals by setting limits with positive discipline, praise, and encouragement. I enjoy being surrounded by children because of their imagination, innocence, and creativity. I adore reading bedtime stories and talking about Harry Potter. I Read more love all animals, but I’ll admit I’m less of a fan of insects. I’m a self-declared excellent cook and baker; I have made endless pasta dishes and freshly baked cookies. And I’m a certified yoga instructor who enjoys teaching yoga to every one of every age. I have a crush on the world and love traveling; I love music, books, puzzles, crafts, board games, card games, and other interactive games like charades. One of my artsy specialties is coloring and singing along to classic Disney songs, but my talents are adaptable, and I love exploring whatever interests the kids I Nanny for interests are. Number one priority is ensuring that my charges are safe and constantly learning something new.
