Hi there! My name is Aidan Pursley. I graduated from the University of Virginia in 2021 with a degree in Neuroscience. After graduation, I worked in a T-cell Lymphoma research lab and continued nannying with a family I worked for throughout college. For the last 6 months, I have been serving in the Peace Corps in Colombia. I am currently looking to relocate to Washington, DC, as I have been offered a research position at the NIH. I worked as a babysitter and nanny throughout high school and college. I have worked with a wide age range of children from newborns to 12 years old. Most recently I worked for a family with a now 4 and 1.5-year-old. I started working with this family when their first child was only a few weeks old. It was such a joy to work with this family as they continued to grow and Read more expand. I helped out with everything from play and meal time to bath and bedtime. Oftentimes I worked in parallel with the mother to help make the days run a bit smoother. I even accompanied the family on vacation as an extra set of hands. In addition to taking care of their boys, I helped with tidying the house, preparing meals, helping out with their family dog, and watching over the house when they were out of town.
