I began working in child care in 2004 at a preschool as a teacher. I left that job to nanny for a family for three years. In 2013 I started working at a learning center as their preschool teacher. I then taught pre-k for 6 years, and last year I became the assistant director and kindergarten teacher. I also babysit frequently for families at work. My career goal is to teach either kindergarten or first grade. I am currently in school to get my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. My entire life there has been no question that I wanted to work in child care.It is so rewarding to watch children grow and see them retain the information you teach them, and on top of that, it's fun! I love making a special connection with each child, as well as their families. I enjoy going to work every day Read more and I look forward to the next chapter in my career!
