Hello Parents! My name is Clara and I am a 23 year old law student in the White Plains area. I have worked with children for 7 years, 5 of those being at a professional level. I am also CPR and First-Aid Certified from the Norwalk Hospital in Connecticut. I began babysitting before eventually moving into a teaching role at the Montessori school I attended as a child, which gave me a whole new perspective to child care as I learned patience and compassion. There I worked with ages 2-5. From there, I worked at a daycare center where I cared for ages 1-7. I assisted teachers in lessons, and come their summer camp program, had lots of fun outside leading activities. By far my favorite childcare experience was my time at a local farm, where in their summer camp program I led ages 3-14 in caring for the farm Read more animals, harvesting food, learning about nature, and working with others in team-building activities. Since then, I have intermittently worked back at the Montessori school and daycare when the chance arises. It would be a privilege to care for your child or children as I look to jump back into my role as a care-giver.
