Hello there! My name is Gina. I am a nanny with lots of experience with kids of all ages. Quick story... Back in 2006 I was volunteering at a Student Council event at my high school. An overwhelmed dad came with his two older children, the oldest of which was running around and the youngest of which was cold and cranky. While the dad wrangled his oldest I watched his youngest and placed my gloves on his little hands. When dad came back to his smiling toddler he immediately asked, "Do you babysit?!" His wife called me later and I ended up nannying for their three kids all through high school. I still have all of their school and sports pictures and keep them all in my heart. [newborn, toddler, and young school age] Throughout college I worked summers at a local camp. My group was designated as a safe Read more space for both disabled and able-bodied students. Watching them grow together and support each other was the highlight of those summers. [young and middle school age] After college, I taught for VIPKID teaching students from China to speak English as their second language. It has been such a joy and a challenge. I keep pictures and videos on my phone of all of the artwork and messages these kiddos have shared with me over the years. [students 3-15 years old] Now that China is not allowing American tutors anymore I have been keeping busy with other endeavors while mentoring my friends kids and visiting my nieces and nephew. I'm currently help a homeschooled teen practice for her GED and a middle school student explore her passion for animals, hiking, coin collecting, and glue-gun art. Personally, I have been enjoying time with my husband and two dogs. Hiking and cooking new cuisine whenever possible.
