Hello! My name is Isabel Gusinde-Duffy & I am 25years old :) I have extensive experience working with children (11+ years). I began babysitting at the age of 12 which turned into a couple of separate consistent nannying gigs. I redirected children to encourage safe, positive behaviors. Modeled appropriate social behaviors and encouraged concern for others. Affectionately cared for 4 children, ages infant to 11 for 4 years. Cleaned the house, including laundry, sweeping and mopping. Administered medication and minor first aid to sick and injured children. Dressed children and changed diapers. Sparked creativity and imagination by helping children discover new things each day. Maintained a child-friendly environment with engaging activities and continuous access to the outdoors. When I moved to Colorado I got a job as a dance instructor & gymnastics coach for children ages 3-5. After a couple of months of coaching and teaching I got asked to Read more occasionally be a substitute teacher for the preschool. It was without a doubt the most rewarding job I have ever had. I genuinely loved going to work every day and looking up lesson plans and coming up with different projects to teach the kids about colors, counting etc. I was also a camp counselor for a larger group of kids about 20 (ages 5-12) & have been working at a summer beach camp the last three years with children ages 4-14. I created such amazing relationships with the children and can honestly say I have never had so much fun at "work.”I believe that I am a good role model for children because I am genuinely interested in helping them learn and grow and in who they are as unique individuals. I also feel like there is so much to learn from the children that you work with. I am very interested in Children's Development and coming up with new and creative ways to help kids develop at their own pace. I am a very responsible person and always put the children's safety first while creating a fun environment to learn. I am very bubbly and energetic, and I believe that the positive energy is contagious and good for children to be around. I am an extremely patient person and can always keep a cool head which also makes me an excellent candidate for working with children. I also love the arts and imagination so I love to play make believe games and have outside time. I am available for date nights but would really love a consistent job/family to be with. I am CPR certified. Covid safe. Non smoker. Love animals!
