Hello! Just a little about me: I usually get labeled as silly by friends which I happily accept. I pride myself on my ability to go with the flow. I can have fun with almost any sport or activity, it’s always been easy to make things worth doing pretty enjoyable, even homework. I know how much I like to mess around but I also know the importance of always being responsible, caring, and attentive. Before I decided I wanted to be a babysitter I was a swim instructor and lifeguard. I ended up learning so many important lessons through my experience and training that I carry with me when I’m working with children. I don’t just mean first aid and CPR, I also mean; avoiding danger, noticing risk, making sure the environment is safe, and keeping kids calm. I spent time with kids at work but I also found myself drawn towards kids in my free time as well. I have a pretty big family and being in my family, babysitting was inevitable, but, I always volunteer. It’s something I genuinely love to do. Watching my niece when she was just a month old to now (she’s 7) and babysitting all my little cousins are just two examples of quality time that I hold close to my heart. I’ve been drawn to work with kids for years now and its something I’ve been told I’m pretty good at.
