Hello, I am Breanna and I am 25 years old. I graduated from Grand Canyon University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Math. I absolutely love teaching and being around kids which is why I chose to get my degree in teaching. During my student teaching I taught afterschool math to fourth and fifth graders and I loved it. I had fun using the skills that I learned during student teaching in my own classroom. I have been babysitting since I was in 5th grade and I have watched kids from the ages of 2.5 months to 16 years old. While watching kids I have helped out with homework, created educational activities, played hames, taken kids to parks, taken kids to fun activities, done crafts, picked up and dropped kids off for school, taken kids to their school activities, and prepared snacks and meals. I Read more have always loved watching kids because I enjoy doing the things the kids like and watching them have fun. I do know some sign language. I have been signing SEE (Sign Exact English) since I was in Kindergarten, but I have been recently learning ASL and I am hoping to get my interpreting degree really soon here. I am also a Certified Nurse’s Assistant and I worked in a long term care facility for a year and a half and I did in home care for a summer while I was home. I liked working as a CNA, but it made me realize how much I wanted to work with kids more which is why I got a teaching degree. I know that I would really enjoy any nanny job and I would do my best to make sure that the kids are having fun. I will also make sure that I complete anything that needs to be done to my best ability.
