I have lived with kids around me all of my life. I have lived in my current apartment complex for 15 years. You could say that children are just drawn to me. I am a 40 year old mother of 3 kids; 21 year old boy, 14 year old boy and a 1 year old girl. I have been volunteering in many children’s activities since I was 12 years old as a Sunday school teacher for toddlers, homework tutor for all ages K-12 through LifeSteps apartment’s kids and at my kid’s school kids. I’ve homeschooled one of my kids in all subjects for 2.5 years. I was a soccer referee for my boy’s U8 team one year. In elementary school for both my sons I would volunteer for math, art(meet the masters) and reading for many years. When I was 12 years old, I would take care of a family Read more with 6 kids(ages 3 mos to 11 years old) for 48 hours at a time every few weeks for 2 years. As an adult I have cared for another family with children in elementary school and middle for 3 years. Being older and having my own kids I am looking to have time at home with my own too. Ideally, I would like to work 5-6 hours a day, 5 days a week, but that is flexible. The point is that I am really good with kids and I have a passion for homeschooling and tutoring too. My middle son is dyslexic & was previously diagnosed with ADHD in inattentiveness and I was able, through homeschooling using unschooling and Montessori methods, to bring up his reading that was 8 wpm to 48 wpm in 2.5 years and Kindergarten reading level at 2nd grade to 5th grade vocabulary reading level in 5th grade. I was able to help his attention with multi-sensory learning and modern tools. I‘ve helped many kids understand Math with that “I finally got it!” Moment. I Love those moments! I love kids of all ages. I put a maximum of 3 kids because my car is a 5 seater with a car seat. I am looking for part time work. I will be acquiring my child & infant CPR license soon, I currently have an expired adult CPR license . I accept Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, Step or Cash. No Checks.
