Hi! I absolutely love kids of all ages, and have many years of experience in caring for children ranging in age from newborn to teen, including some who were differently abled. I worked in two daycares when I was young, and have worked as a live-in, and out, full time nanny and part time sitter. At the beginning of the pandemic I took a pause in nannying, and spent some time helping to stage houses that were for sale. I'm currently seeking a live-out position with a families with one or two children, infant to preschool aged at the time of our start. I drive and have a vehicle, and a clean driving record. I've worked either alone or alongside parents or grandparents to keep kids safe, fed and engaged in fun, age appropriate activities, utilizing available toys, books, arts/crafts materials, musical instruments, learning materials, games, etc, helping to reach Read more those milestones, foster independence and to have fun together! Getting outside daily, weather permitting, has always been important. I fully engage with the kids I'm with, am not on my phone or using screens as entertainment for them. I've communicated with families to create or keep a napping schedule, always reading to children before putting them down. I've prepared and fed their meals and snacks, unless parents have preferred to prepare food themselves. I've also assisted in potty training. I clean up after our activities and meals, and help with kid laundry, inviting little ones to help when appropriate. I have taken CPR classes, but my certification isn't up to date. I'm generally available 8am-4, with some flexibility, however I'm not interested in date night sitting My rate depends on duties and use of my vehicle. Thanks for reading!
