Hi! I’m Barbara, I’m 19 and currently just working and trying to enjoy as much as I can before going into college, I love my work as a nanny, every single job that I’ve had I end up getting really attached to them and sad when I have to leave since they are always temporary jobs the ones that I’ve gotten. I grew up in Mexico, and had some babysitting jobs after school or on weekends, but after I graduated I started to live in California and stayed there for two years and worked for different families. My friend from high school and I are living in Denver together, I just moved here and would like to find another long term job. I’m very energetic and I’ve always been good with kids since I have 2 little brothers and when they were little my parents used to work so I Read more would take care of them, they also helped me gain experience with all ages. I am willing to take care of the kids and also clean around the house so it’s nice and organized, laundry and help kids with school work. Taking the kids or dog if there is to the park or for a walk is not a problem for me! I love to go on walks with infants, when they get older I take them to the park so they can look at other children and play with them on the swings, also play them songs and sing and dance to them, I makes them laugh and their smile always bring up my days. For older kids it would depend on what they like to do, but with the ones that I’ve taken care of we would build forts, dance parties, tea parties, we would okay just dance, with dolls, we would pretend to be in a movie and a lot more fun activities that they would enjoy, I consider myself to still feel like a kid so anything they are up for, I’m would totally want to do to! Helping the parents in everything they need, I know how hard it can be for working parents, and leaving them with someone else can be even harder, but I just want to make sure that they trust me so they can go on to work and not worry about anything. My favorite moment as a nanny at this point has been holding a baby when she felt a little bit sick and just needed a lot of love and hugs, she wouldn’t let me let her down, a baby’s hug is the best thing in the world!
