I am a wife and mother of two boys who are now teens. I have been working in the field of Early Childhood Education/Elementary Education for 20 years. My college education is centered around Child Development. I have worn many hats over the years. I was a Lead Infant/toddler teacher as well as an Assistant Director for 5 years. I truly love caring for young children, and providing developmental activities as well as building great relationships with families. During this time I was also fortunate to volunteer in a children's hospital in Romania for several weeks. We provided quality care for infants and toddlers that were abandoned by their parents and neglected by the nursing staff. While my children were young, I was a licensed childcare provider. This allowed me to be with them while they were young and continue the work I love. Once they were preschool age, I Read more taught preschool, creating age appropriate curriculum, field trips, and fun learning activities. The last 6 years I followed my passion and worked in Special Education. I’ve worked in RSP tutoring students with Dyslexia, (Tk-3rd), as well as in SDC (Tk-1st) (4th-6th) teaching and providing social and emotional support for students with Autism, OCD, ODD, ADHD, CP and Down Syndrome. I’m CPR /First Aid certified. I also can teach baby sign language. For my next chapter, I’d love to find a wonderful family to Nanny for while continuing my education in Speech and Language Pathology.
