I recently quit my job, I am trying to find a new full time job. I have always wanted to serve back families by working as a babysitter. I have a huge love for kids and think that it is very important to give them love, time, and attention. Honestly, I do not have long term experience babysitting or nannying jobs. The times I have babysat the parents are very happy with the work I have done. I make sure that I follow what the parents ask of me, be attentive to the child’s needs, take each opportunity as a learning moment, let the child be creative, be silly, have fun, making sure they are being safe and within proper boundaries. I have a lot of experience in leading retreats with kids of all ages. This includes leading games, small group discussions, making sure they eat at their hours, resolving Read more conflict, and creating a schedule full of activities. I have taken care of a one year old and a 4 year old. We played inside and outside, colored, read books, and I fed them when they were hungry (or when it was time to eat). At one time I was a “babysitter” for two girls, but what they didn’t know is that my job was to actually teach them Spanish. Their parents asked me to only speak Spanish to them, we would listen to Spanish (kid appropriate) music, and play games in Spanish. I am bilingual in Spanish and English.
