Hi! I am a college student, and am just looking for a part-time job where I can do what I love! I’ve been a tutor for kids ages 4-16, a nanny for an infant, a babysitter with both formal experience, as well as, experience with all the children in my family since I was in middle school, and I am a former daycare teacher. Because I’ve had so much experience with children of all ages, I’ve grown in my patience, compassion, empathy, and my abilities to multitask and stay on top of a schedule - all skills I believe are so important when working with children. I also believe it’s important to be able to form a trusting relationship with the children you are nannying/babysitting, because it helps to maintain the warm, nurturing environment their parents worked to build, that helps them to thrive. Some activities I enjoy doing as Read more a nanny/babysitter are baking, creating arts and crafts, reading, taking them to the park, and anything that helps their minds grow and keeps them occupied, safe, and happy.
